Each summer we look for teen volunteers, ages 12 and up, to help younger children at the Summer Reading Club table. This year’s theme is “Catch the Reading Bug.” Volunteers are needed from June 25th to August 6th. If you would like to volunteer, fill out our online form by Friday, June 13th.
If your school or religious organization encourages you to volunteer for a community group, talk to the children’s services supervisor about helping with activities such as straightening shelves, labeling books and movies, or preparing crafts materials for library programs.
The library has an active Teen Advisory Board (TAB) for high school students. TAB helps develop library programs, and recommends age-appropriate materials for the library to buy for its collection. The group meets monthly during the school year. If you want to join, fill out and submit the application form below.
