The Randolph Township Library has been named a 2006 award winner for its web site by the Library Public Relations Council (LPRC).
The LPRC is an international organization that promotes the development of effective public relations skills for library staff. The award, known as the “L. PeRCy,” is the result of a competition held annually to select the finest examples of print publicity from libraries in the U.S. and Canada.
Congratulations to Library Director Anita Freeman and her talented staff for this recognition of their creativity. Launched on July 14, 2005, the new library web site was a collaborative effort between Assistant Library Director Leanna Povilaitis and web developer Pavia Kriegman, who also designed and maintains the municipal and police web sites.
Winners were announced in June at the American Library Association’s annual conference in New Orleans.
