Public Polling: How Does It Work?

Public opinion polls are ubiquitous, and yet rarely understood. Krista Jenkins, professor of political science at FDU and executive director of Public Mind, examines the art and science behind public opinion polls, both in regard to how they are properly (and improperly) conducted, and how they should be understood and used in democratic societies such as ours.
