If you enjoy reading and discussing books this is the book club for you. We’ll be meeting once a month and will enjoy books and popcorn. After registering, pick up the current book at the circulation desk and read it before the next meeting.

Beanstalks, Beasts and Buffoons Puppet Show

The Wonderful World of Butterflies

Join us for a visit from Rick Mikula, an award winning author and butterfly expert, and some of his beautiful live butterflies. This fast-paced, high energy program will also feature amazing mounted specimens.

Eco-Friendly Magic Show

George Piegaro, Jr., founder of “Healthy You, Healthier Planet,” brings juggling, disappearing tricks, floating illusions, magic coloring book, rope tricks, and magic beyond belief that’s fun and educational. Not only will you be part of the act in this interactive magic exhibit, you will also learn how to be green and create a healthier planet. Each person will get info on how they can leave a lighter carbon foot print on the planet.

Birds of Prey—Up Close

Bill Streeter, executive director of the Delaware Valley Raptor Center, will show you the majesty of raptors, including the predatory/prey relationships, behavior and survival adaptations, the hawk migration phenomenon, and more. You will meet a red-tailed hawk, American kestrel, peregrine falcon, great horned owl, saw-whet owl, and golden eagle. Most of the birds treated at the center are returned to the wild. However, due to their injuries, some birds must remain in captivity. These birds become an important element in the center’s educational programs. Streeter has over 30 years of experience as a raptor rehabilitator, falconer and educator. This family program will be held on the lawn so please bring your own chair. Rain date is June 24.

Rainbow Fish in the Deep Blue Sea

An innocent game of “hide and seek” accidentally draws Rainbow Fish into a stiff current that leads to a new and mysterious territory. Inspired by the award winning books by Marcus Pfister, this original puppet show brings Rainbow Fish and the other sea creatures to life as a cast of colorful marionettes.

Splish Splashing Rock ‘n’ Roll Summer Concert
Date(s): Tuesday, June 29
Time: 7:00 to 7:45 p.m.
Who: All ages welcome

Join us for this rockin’ concert chock full of nonstop dancing and upbeat children’s music performed by Presley and Melody. We will hold this concert outside if weather permits. Bring a blanket or chair to sit on and your dinner if you like. We will be inside if the weather is bad.
