Winter/Spring Twilight Tales

Who: All ages

Join us in your jammies for this thirty minute evening program of stories, puppets, flannelboard activities, and music. This language enrichment program fosters many aspects of the development of pre-reading/reading skills and is designed for a general audience with a variety of ages in attendance. It offers both short and medium length stories and some interactive participation. A parent/caregiver must attend with the child. No registration is necessary and the program is not limited to Randolph residents.

Winter/Spring Nursery Rhyme Time

Time: Mondays, 9:30 to 9:50 a.m./Tuesdays, 10:30 to 10:50 a.m./Thursdays, 9:30 to 9:50 a.m.
Who: Ages 6 to 23 months

Nursery Rhyme Time is a lively twenty minute program chock-full of stories, puppets, fingerplays, short rhymes, and music. This language enrichment program has been designed to give children a pleasant introductory library experience and to help them adjust to the activity of group participation. Parents/caregivers must attend with the child but only the child should be registered.

Winter/Spring Twos Together

Time: Mondays, 10:15 to 10:35 a.m./Wednesdays, 9:30 to 9:50 a.m.
Who: Age 2

Twos Together is a fun twenty minute program of stories, puppets, fingerplays, flannelboard activities, and music. This language enrichment program strives to build a foundation for developing pre-reading skills through the use of short, simple stories, rhymes, and fingerplays while familiarizing children with the activity of group participation. Parents/caregivers must attend with the child but only the child should be registered.

Winter/Spring Tales and Tunes for Fours and Fives
Date(s): March 4 to May 13
Time: Tuesdays, 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. OR 1:30 to 2:00 p.m.
Who: Ages 4 and 5, not yet in kindergarten

Tales & Tunes for Fours and Fives is a fast-paced thirty minute program of stories, puppets, flannelboard activities, and music. This language enrichment program encourages further development of pre-reading skills through the use of longer, more complex stories and enhanced interactive involvement. Parents/caregivers may attend with the child if they wish but only the child should be registered.

Winter/Spring Drop-In Storytime
Date(s): Wednesdays, March 5 to May 14
Time: 10:30 to 11:00 a.m.
Who: All ages welcome

Drop-In Storytime is a stimulating thirty minute program of stories, puppets, flannelboard activities, and music. This language enrichment program supports many aspects of the development of pre-reading/reading skills and is designed for a general audience with a variety of ages in attendance. It offers both short and medium length stories and some interactive participation. A parent/caregiver must attend with the child. No registration is necessary and the program is not limited to Randolph residents. Storytime will not be held April 23rd.

Time: Thursdays, 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. OR 1:30 to 2:00 p.m.
Who: Age 3

Tales & Tunes for Threes is an exciting thirty minute program of stories, puppets, fingerplays, flannelboard activities, and music. This language enrichment program endeavors to develop pre-reading skills by introducing children to longer stories and increasing individual participation. Parents/caregivers may attend with the child if they wish but only the child should be registered.

Winter/Spring Kindergarten Korner
Date(s): Thursdays, March 6 to May 15
Time: 4:30 to 5:00 p.m.
Who: Kindergarteners only

Kindergarten Korner is a dynamic thirty minute program of stories, puppets, flannelboard activities, and music. This language enrichment program promotes vocabulary expansion and enhanced pre-reading/reading skills through the use of longer, more complex stories, active listening, and discussion. A parent/caregiver does not usually attend.

Summer Tales at 10:30
Date(s): Thursdays, June 26 to July 31
Time: 10:30 to 11:00 a.m.
Who: All ages welcome

Tales at 10:30 is an exciting thirty minute program of stories, puppets, fingerplays, flannelboard activities, and music. This language enrichment program endeavors to develop pre-reading skills and reinforce reading skills already acquired. This program is held outdoors, weather permitting, so bring a blanket to sit on.

Summer Tiny Tots

Time: 10:30 to 10:50 a.m.
Who: Ages 2 and under

Tiny Tots is a lively twenty minute program chock-full of stories, puppets, fingerplays, short rhymes, and music.
