Ancient Egypt: Mummies, Scarabs & Cats

Time: 7:00 p.m.
Who: Adults 18 years old and over only.

Scarabs, bulls, lions, and cats—discover the significance of ancient Egyptian gods by examining everyday objects. Using a model, you will observe the process of making a mummy, the means by which the human body was preserved in order to enjoy the afterlife. Be entertained and educated by museum artifacts and reproductions. (This is an outreach program by the Morris Museum.) Non-residents may register 1 week before program.
