Update About 2011 Leaf Collection Program
Posted: November 7, 2011
With the enormous amount of tree damage resulting from the October snow, township crews will be concentrating on the collection of branches and damaged street trees through the remainder of 2011 and into 2012.
The curbside collection of leaves will most likely not be rescheduled. Consequently, please do not rake or blow your leaves to the street.

The township has increased the hours of public works operations with both longer workdays and Saturdays in order to get branches up from the curb as quickly as possible. A good rule of thumb is that if you cannot lift a branch, a township employee cannot lift it either. Try to honor four foot lengths. Branches mixed with leaf piles will remain at the curb. See the anticipated branch collection schedule.
Winter storms are just around the corner. Once snow begins accumulating, branch collection operations will be suspended.
If you have a landscaper, consider having your contractor take your leaves and chip fallen limbs. If you have woods behind your house, we ask that you exercise this natural option for disposal of both leaves and branches.
Randolph Township understands that many will be frustrated with this turn of events. It is our sincere desire to return the township back to a normal operations cycle as quickly as possible.
