Candidates Forum to be Held Nov. 2
Posted: October 24, 2005
The League of Women Voters of Randolph will sponsor a candidates forum for township council candidates on Wednesday, November 2, at 7:30 pm in the Randolph High School library. The candidates are Daniel Lynn (D) and Arlene Price (R) and they are seeking to serve one unexpired term for one year, until 2006.
Also on the program will be information about the two public questions on the 2005 general election ballot, both of which present the opportunity to amend the state constitution. Public Question #1 pertains to gubernatorial succession and the establishment of the office of Lieutenant Governor; Public Question #2 addresses the issue of dedicating tax revenue to control particulate emissions from diesel engines and costs pertaining to the underground storage tank system.
