Document Shredding Service
Posted: September 24, 2012
The Randolph Township Health Department will once again be offering confidential paper shredding services to residents free of charge as part of its Fall Clean Communities Day scheduled for September 29, 2012.
Shredding activity is contained in a mobile state-of the-art shredding machine complete with video surveillance equipment which allows the resident to see the documents being shredded.
The vehicle will be parked at the municipal building between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 12 noon.
This is a service for residents and their personal confidential documents only (i.e., documents generated in the household). Limit three file boxes per household. This service is not offered to commercial entities, including home-based businesses.
Shredded documents are weighed and carted off. The tonnage will be added in to our annual recycling tonnage report which we are required to submit to the state.
Call the Randolph Health Department at 973.989.7050 if you have any questions.
