EDC Recognizes Local Business Leaders
Posted: December 14, 2005
The Randolph Township Economic Development Committee (EDC) recently held its annual awards dinner at the Skylands Banquet facility. Local businesses honored this year were Cafe Shays, Heart of Gold, Rosie’s Trattoria and Soccer Evolution.
The EDC, a committee of volunteers appointed by the Township Council, serves as a liaison between the council and local businesses. Its goal is to promote sound economic development by working with all township officials to develop proactive approaches aimed at maintaining a balanced and vibrant commercial sector in Randolph.
Current EDC members are Louis Pangaro, Stuart Brecher, John Ragan, Edward Finnis, Deb Sprung, Evan Glanz and Neil Minsky. There will be several vacancies on the committee as of December 31st so residents and business owners who possess an interest in Randolph’s economic development are encouraged to volunteer to serve as a member of the EDC. Send a resume to the attention of the Township Manager at 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, NJ 07869. Appointments are made by the council at its January reorganization meeting so time is of the essence. Questions? Need more info about the EDC? Visit the committee’s web page or contact EDC Chairman Lou Pangaro at 973.927.1753.
