Shop Online to Help the Randolph Animal Pound
Posted: December 3, 2010
Friends of Randolph Animal Pound has partnered with GiveBackAmerica.com to help raise money, all at no extra cost to supporters. You can help simply by doing what you are probably doing anyway…shopping online!
GiveBackAmerica.com (okay, let’s call it GBA for short!) is an online shopping mall that was created to raise money for charities. Retailers such as Target, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, Zappos.com, Expedia and Staples pay a referral fee to GBA for sending customers their way. GBA, in turn, shares the retailer’s referral fee with Friends of Randolph Animal Pound.
How does it work?
There’s nothing to fill out and no need to register for anything. Instead of going directly to the website of your favorite retailer, start at the GBA site and follow the link they provide. When you click on a store’s link, you will see a "thank you" page and then you will be immediately redirected to the retailer’s website. This enables GBA to keep track of purchases made by supporters so the commissions generated can be credited to the Friends account accordingly.
It’s quick, it’s easy and it’s rewarding for all because when you go through the GBA portal to reach a retailer’s website, you will be helping to feed, vet and spay/neuter a homeless animal…all you have to do is shop!
