On Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at approximately 12:20 p.m., a Randolph Township Police Officer observed a crash at the intersection of Center Grove Road and Quaker Church Road.
Initial investigation reveals that a vehicle, a Chevy Tahoe, was traveling north on Center Grove Road when another vehicle, a Jeep SUV, traveling east on Quaker Church Road struck the vehicle. The vehicle on Center Grove Road rolled onto its side and as it did, it struck another vehicle, an Eagle Vision, stopped in the left lane of Center Grove Road, northbound.
The driver of the Tahoe had a severe injury to the left hand area and was flown to Morristown Memorial Hospital via Medivac. The Randolph Police were assisted by the Randolph Fire Department, Atlantic Health Care EMS-9, Morris County Sheriff’s Department C.I.D and the Morris County Prosecutor Vehicular Homicide Unit.
