“Hidden in Plain Sight” Program for Parents
Posted: March 13, 2018
Due to inclement weather, this program, originally scheduled for March 21, 2018, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 24, 2018.
The Randolph Municipal Alliance Committee (MAC) is sponsoring the program “Hidden in Plain Sight” on April 24, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Randolph Community Center on Calais Road.
The program will be presented by Morris County Prevention is Key, and will highlight the difficulty parents and caregivers may encounter detecting risky behavior in teenagers. Attendees will have the opportunity to walk through a simulated bedroom and learn to identify drug paraphernalia and hiding places, along with other signs that may indicate alcohol or other drug use by a teen.
A prevention specialist, along with a member of the Randolph Police Department, will guide attendees through the exhibit. Current drug trends, signs and symptoms will be discussed in an effort to raise awareness and provide resources for parents and families as they strive to keep their children safe and healthy.
