Free Guided Hike of the Clyde Potts Reservoir
Posted: July 7, 2011
A free guided public hike of the land surrounding the Clyde Potts Reservoir will be held Sunday, July 17, 2011 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
The outing, a collaborative effort of the Land Conservancy of New Jersey and Mendham and Randolph townships, is an easy to moderately strenuous hike open to all ages. During the hike, participants will learn who Clyde Potts was and how the property came to be preserved.
No reservations are needed. Meet at the parking area on Old Brookside Road in Randolph, approximately one-half mile south of Sussex Turnpike. There is no rain date; the hike will happen unless weather conditions are clearly poor (sustained or heavy rain just before or during hike).
