HSOR to Host Randolph Reminisces Program

Posted: July 15, 2011

The Historical Society of Old Randolph (HSOR) is pleased to announce the next speaker in its special series of programs entitled “Randolph Reminisces.”

On Monday, July 18, 2011, guest speaker Grace Leary will share stories about life in Randolph many years ago.

Grace moved to Randolph when she was 10-years old and lived in its Millbrook section all of her life. Her Millbrook ancestors trace back to the 1700s. Grace’s kin include Alonzo Briant Searing, who served with the NJ Volunteers during the Civil War. Grace will be bringing memorabilia from as far back as the 1850s.

The program will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Randolph Museum, located at the mouth of Freedom Park on Millbrook Avenue. Light refreshments will be served.
