HSOR to Host Randolph Reminisces Program

The Historical Society of Old Randolph (HSOR) is pleased to announce the next speaker in its special series of programs entitled “Randolph Reminisces.”
On Monday, November 14, 2011, Dr. Peter Lubrecht will be the speaker. Many will remember Dr. Lubrecht for his years at the Brundage Park Playhouse. He has also been a speaker at the library, talking about Abraham Lincoln’s love of the theater.
Dr. Lubrecht will talk about the soldiers from Randolph who served in the Civil War. He has written a book called NJ Butterfly Boys in the Civil War, and will autograph his books for sale after the program.
Randolph Reminisces will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Randolph Museum, located at the mouth of Freedom Park on Millbrook Avenue. Admission is free and light refreshments will be served.
