Martial Arts Party for Rising Stars Members

Randolph’s Rising Stars program participants are invited to be the guests of the NJ Martial Arts Academy on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This free event will be held at the academy located at 1248 Sussex Turnpike, Unit 9B in Randolph.
Attendees will enjoy a martial arts party where they can learn about this fun and beneficial practice during a one hour demonstration/class. There will be extra support staff present to help make the event meaningful and fun for every participant. After the class/demonstration, refreshments will be served for parents and children.
A parent is required to stay on premises; siblings may be allowed to attend, space permitting.
You must call and register in advance for this event. Contact the Recreation Department at 973.989.7084. When you register, please express your desire to bring a sibling so that your sibling child(ren) can be put on the list for available spots once Rising Star registrations are complete. Please register early to avoid disappointment.
A note about Rising Stars: A child does not have to be a classified student to participate in a Rising Stars program. We are open to anyone who would like to join us. Children who have challenges with their self esteem, gross/fine motor skills, or social skills will be able to build confidence participating in these programs. Our aim is to provide a non-threatening and non-intimidating environment where children can have fun.
