Reminder to Motorists in Residential Areas
Posted: February 7, 2006
The Randolph Police wish to help ensure the safety of the children who are walking to bus stop locations. We have received several complaints about motorists who are speeding and failing to stop at stop signs. We are asking that you police yourselves before we have to take strict enforcement action. We want to form a partnership with our residents and the motorists who travel through Randolph.
We would like to remind everyone of the following:
- You must stop at all stop signs.
- The speed limit in residential areas is 25 mph.
- The children who are walking to their bus stops deserve to feel safe and protected.
By obeying the traffic laws you will be helping to provide a safe atmosphere for our children.
