Randolph to Participate in Operation Appreciation

The Morris County Chamber of Commerce has once again joined forces with the staff of Brighton Cromwell and the United Way of Morris County for Operation Appreciation to send care packages this holiday season to soldiers serving overseas.
Randolph Township is serving as a drop-off location for Operation Appreciation. The following items are being sought for the care packages and can be dropped off at the township municipal building Tuesday, November 22 through 12 noon, Friday, December 2:
- prepaid phone cards
- scarves and gloves
- single serve packets of hot and cold cereal
- ready to eat tuna/chicken salad kits
- commercially wrapped individual packs of trail mix
- individually wrapped beef jerky
- energy bars
- commercially wrapped candy, gum and cookies
- commercially sealed lip balm
- roll-on deodorant
- travel size foot powder and moist towelettes
- travel size hand sanitizer
- travel size toiletries
- toothpaste
- dental floss
- eye drops
If you’d prefer to make a financial contribution, checks may be sent directly to the United Way of Morris County, Front Line Fund, P.O. Box 1948, Morristown, NJ 07962. Please write “Operation Appreciation” in the memo line of your check. All monetary donations will go towards purchasing needed items in bulk.
