Randolph to Participate in Operation Appreciation

The staff of Brighton Cromwell has once again joined forces with the United Way of Northern New Jersey for Operation Appreciation to send care packages this holiday season to soldiers serving overseas.

Randolph Township is serving as a drop-off location for Operation Appreciation. The following items are being sought for the care packages and can be dropped off at either the township municipal building or community center on Calais Road through Monday, December 9:

  • prepaid phone cards
  • soap
  • commercially sealed lip balm
  • toothpaste
  • dental floss
  • roll-on deodorant
  • travel size foot powder
  • hand warmers
  • single serve packets of hot and cold cereal
  • ready to eat tuna/chicken salad kits
  • commercially wrapped individual packs of trail mix
  • individually wrapped beef jerky
  • energy bars
  • commercially wrapped candy, gum and cookies
  • over-the-counter meds (Advil, etc.)
  • eye drops
  • travel size hand sanitizer
  • travel size toiletries

If you’d prefer to make a financial contribution, checks may be sent directly to the United Way of Northern New Jersey, Front Line Fund, P.O. Box 1948, Morristown, NJ 07962. Please write “Operation Appreciation” in the memo line of your check. All monetary donations will go towards purchasing needed items in bulk.
