Operation Take Back New Jersey

Posted: October 4, 2013

The Randolph Township Police Department, in conjunction with the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), will be hosting Operation Take Back New Jersey on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Officers will be stationed at the Randolph municipal building (502 Millbrook Avenue) where citizens can properly dispose of their unwanted, unused or expired medications.

The goal of this national program is to provide residents with the opportunity to rid their homes of medications that are no longer needed by turning these medications over to law enforcement officials who will then dispose of the substances in a safe and non-hazardous manner.

This initiative also includes other drop-off sites throughout Morris County and New Jersey. To search for other collection sites, visit the DEA page.
