Police Department Wins Award

The Randolph Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Bureau earned second place in the 2006 New Jersey Law Enforcement Challenge.

The Law Enforcement Challenge was sponsored by New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP), the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety. This program evaluated the proactive work in enforcement and education in the area of traffic safety. The Randolph Police Department was entered in the event for police departments having between 26 and 50 officers.

The awards luncheon was held May 18th at the Old City Grill in Princeton, New Jersey and the Randolph Police Department was presented with a plaque and a prize from Certified Speedometer of Old Tappan.
