The Historical Society of Old Randolph (HSOR) is pleased to announce that Mr. Ken Cramer will be the first speaker of the season in its special series of programs entitled “Randolph Reminisces.”
Mr. Cramer worked in the Scrub Oaks Mine from 1938 - 1950 and was the superintendent of the Mount Hope Mine from 1954 - 2000. He still serves as a mining consultant for the state of New Jersey.
Ken will be recalling his experiences and he plans on bringing some memorabilia that he gathered while working at the mines.
The public is invited to attend this informal vicarious visit to one important industry of Old Randolph on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at the Randolph Museum. The museum is located in the historic Brundage House at the main entrance to Randolph’s Freedom Park on Millbrook Avenue. Light refreshments will be served.
