HSOR to Host Randolph Reminisces Program
Posted: August 14, 2016
The Historical Society of Old Randolph (HSOR) is pleased to announce that Cindy Novak will be the next speaker in its special series of programs entitled “Randolph Reminisces.”
Cindy’s family moved from Bergen County to the Ironia section of Randolph when she was in first grade. Her memories include areas such as Bryant’s Pond, the former D.A. Sokol sleepaway camp on South Road, and, of course, one of Ironia’s well known landmarks—Bill’s Luncheonette/General Store, including the post office there. She is a docent with the Randolph Museum, and also assists with the twice yearly historic bus tour. Cindy will also discuss her compassionate work assisting with bereavement at Resurrection Parish.
The public is invited to attend this free program on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Randolph Museum. The museum is located in the historic Brundage House at the main entrance to Randolph’s Freedom Park on Millbrook Avenue. Light refreshments will be served.
