RANDOLPH STORM RECOVERY – OCTOBER 30, 2012 4PM

Randolph’s State of Emergency has been lifted.  JCP&L crews are working to restore electrical sub-stations.  Once power is up, crews will be assigned to undertake power line repairs along local roadways.
There are power lines and poles down in all sections of Randolph.  The magnitude of the storm damage is so extensive that JCP&L anticipates working into next week to restore outages.
Make sure that you have reported your power outage 1-888-lightss (1-888-544-1477).

RANDOLPH CANCELLATIONS AND CLOSINGS
Tonight’s Trunk or Treat at Brundage Park is cancelled.
Halloween Trick or Treat is suspended.  Check this site for updates.
Randolph schools are closed Wednesday.
Recycling collection is cancelled for entire week.
Garbage collections will resume service Wednesday.  Trucks will collect the Tuesday Route first.
Municipal Court has been cancelled for October 31st.

RECHARGING CELL PHONES, COMPUTERS AND I-PADS
Town Hall is open until 8:00 p.m. this evening.  Town Hall will re-open tomorrow at 7:00 a.m.
Both the Public Works Complex on Sussex Turnpike and Town Hall will provide charging for citizens.
Town Hall will be available from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Public Works will be open tomorrow from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Bottled water will be available mid-morning.

The Municipal offices will re-open for business Wednesday.  As of this hour, there is telephone service to the municipal building however there is no internet service and only a portion of the building is serviced by a generator.
