Vaccination: A Drop of Prevention

Parents, caregivers and all other interested parties are invited to attend an informative program sponsored by the Morris Regional Public Health Partnership titled Vaccination: A Drop of Prevention.

The program will take place Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. in the public meeting room at the Morris County Library in Whippany.

The main speaker will be Dr. Margaret Fisher, a pediatric infectious disease specialist at The Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center. Dr. Susan Walsh, Deputy Commissioner of Health at the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services, will provide introductory remarks.

The program will address how the body develops immunity, why there are so many vaccinations for children and what the world would be like without vaccines.
