The Randolph Township Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department and Artworks Studio staff are pleased to offer two different summer camp programs this year—one for elementary school-age students and one for teens.
Camp will be conducted Monday through Friday at the air-conditioned Artworks Studio located behind the municipal building on Millbrook Avenue. All classes will be taught by Artworks instructors Deb Sasaki, Karen Brown, Kelly Varga and Laurel Clark.

2017 Summer Camp for Students
Week 1: Art Island: Get Shipwrecked with Us
July 10 - 14
9:00 a.m. to 12 noon OR 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Grab your map and compass and navigate through the natural beauty of the Pacific Islands. Discover new cultures while diving into the depths of the ocean! You’ll bring back a treasure trove of ancient artifacts, vibrant tribal patterns and colorful fish!
Week 2: Honey, I Shrunk the Studio
July 24 - 28
9:00 a.m. to 12 noon
Have you ever floated on a bubble or seen a ninety foot tall cat? Be a nutty inventor and create larger than life art in our shrunken studio laboratory! Get ready for some really big fun!
Camp is open to students having completed kindergarten - 6th grade.
Groups will be formed based on grade level after registration.
Each of the two classes will be limited to fourteen students.
Participants are asked to bring a snack and a drink each day.
Fee: $175.00 per student per week.
On the Art Farm!
August 22, 23 and 24
9:30 a.m. to 12 noon
We’ll be singing songs and making art at our studio barn this summer! Campers will bring home carrots made of clay, fluffy feathered ducklings, silly pig pictures and lots of fun memories. Farmer Mike will be stopping by with his big green tractor, too!
For pre-schoolers through kindergarten.
Campers are asked to bring a snack and a drink each day.
Spaces are limited.
Fee: $95.00 per camper.
2017 Summer Art Camp for Teens
Teen Art Camp FILLED
June 26 - June 30
9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Students will spend an intensive week focusing on color theory, form, light, and composition while sharpening their drawing skills. The session will be filled with drawing exercises, problem solving, short term and long term projects along with a team project. The introduction of new materials and techniques such as linoleum block printing and paper making will ensure an exciting week.
Camp is open to teens who have completed grades 6 - 12.
Classes are limited to ten students per class.
Participants should bring a lunch each day.
Fee: $285.00 per teen.
