The Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services has various full- and part-time positions available for day camp staff, lifeguards, park attendants, gym supervisors, etc. Applicants must be in grade 9 or above.
- Sports Officials
Youth grade 7 and above may work as officials for the department’s recreational soccer, basketball, softball and Little League baseball programs.
Interested in working for the Recreation Department? The first step in the process is to complete and submit the appropriate form. For your convenience, we have made the following applications available for download from our web site (some of these forms are also available through the online registration portal):

These are “fillable forms” and may be filled out on your computer. Please note that a fillable form isn’t the same as electronic filing and it is not possible to electronically submit a form—you must print it out after entering the information. Complete instructions are provided on the first page of the application.
Completed applications may be delivered in person to the Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Services office which is located in the Senior Community Center on Calais Road or they may be mailed to the following address:
