Officer Keith DeCarolis met with a resident of Rippling Brook Way who reported that a second story window in his home had been shattered when it was struck by a water balloon.

Police were contacted about an erratic driver. The vehicle was located by Officer Keith DeCarolis who found the driver to be unlicensed and under the age to operate a motor vehicle. The juvenile was turned over to his mother.

The accused was arrested by Officer Neil Caufield after a random check of his license plates revealed a warrant out of Parsippany. He posted the bail of $189.00 and was released.

Officer Keith DeCarolis stopped the accused on Center Grove Road for several moving violations. The accused was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was issued motor vehicle tickets for reckless driving, failure to maintain a lane, and driving while intoxicated. He was released to his wife.

Officer Brian McGaughran stopped the accused for a motor vehicle violation. The accused was found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. He was charged and released.

Officers Corey Czerniak, Randy Maccione, Stephen Zenes, and Sgt. Jeffrey Gomez responded to a business at 447 Route 10 for a domestic dispute between a mother and her adult son. The accused was arrested for simple assault for kicking his mother. The accused was charged and released.

Sgt. Jeffrey Gomez and Officer Randy Maccione responded to the Pathmark for a shoplifter. The accused had no identification on his person and admitted to being in the country illegally. The accused was charged with shoplifting and, due to his inability to produce identification as a condition of his bail, he was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility.

The accused was stopped by Sgt. Jeffrey Gomez for a motor vehicle violation. An active warrant was located for the accused out of Hanover Township. The accused posted the $214.00 bail and was released.

Charged: Michael J. Lomauro, 36 of Hopatcong NJ

The accused was arrested by Officer Brett Sommer and charged with criminal restraint and harassment stemming from an incident that took place at 1147 Sussex Turnpike. Officer Sommer was assisted by Sgt. Carl LeMarble, and Officer Manlio Irula as well as Hopatcong and Denville police. The bail was set by Judge Cohen at $2,500.00 with a 10% option. The accused posted the bail and was released after being served with a temporary restraining order.

While working on a mobile inspection check point with the state Motor Vehicle Commission, Officer James Cacciabeve observed a fraudulent inspection decal on a car. The driver was questioned about the sticker and admitted it was fraudulent. The driver was charged with failure to inspect and possessing a fraudulent inspection sticker; both are motor vehicle violations.

At 12:54, Sgt. Christopher Giuliani responded to Route 10 and Sussex Turnpike for a one car motor vehicle crash. During the course of the investigation, the accused was arrested for driving under the influence. Sgt. Giuliani was assisted by Officer Brian McGaughran and Officer Neil Caufield. The accused was charged with reckless driving, driving under the influence, failure to report a crash, and leaving the scene of a crash. He was released to a friend.
