Officer Keith DeCarolis arrested the accused on an outstanding warrant from Denville after a random license plate check showed the warrant. The accused posted the $89.00 bail and was released.

The accused was arrested by Officer Neil Caufield during a motor vehicle stop when several active warrants were located for him. The accused was turned over to the Denville Police Department.

Officer Michael Kavanaugh met with a resident of Orchard Drive who made a complaint about another motorist’s actions on Millbrook Avenue.

Officer Kurt Edelman met with a representative of Gray Supply to document a bad check complaint. The check was initially passed by a resident of Flanders on 5-9-06 and after numerous unsuccessful attempts at collection, a criminal complaint will be signed by the victim. The second complaint was for two bad checks passed by a Randolph resident in May of 2006. The funds are still outstanding on both checks.

Sergeant Christopher Giuliani responded to Route 10 and Center Grove Road on a motor vehicle crash. During the course of the incident, Sgt. Giuliani detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage on the accused’s breath. She was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. The accused was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving. Officers Brian McGaughran and Richard Biase assisted with the arrest and processing.

Officer Brian McGaughran met with a resident of Rebecca Court who reported that on the evening of July 27th, he hosted a party at his home and during the course of the night, several items including digital cameras were stolen.

Officers Frank Mygas, Jason Gould, and Matthew Rispoli responded to Arrowgate Drive on a report of a suspicious vehicle. The accused and several other persons were located in the suspicious vehicle. When the accused opened the window of the car to speak with the officers, the odor of burnt marijuana was detected coming from the car. The accused admitted to Officer Rispoli that he had drug-related paraphernalia in the car. The accused was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug related paraphernalia.

The officers met with the security officer who indicated one of the employees had been caught stealing cash from the cash register. The security officer asked patrols to escort the employee from the store.

Officer Jason Gould responded to Dover Chester Road near the Ironia School for a report of a solicitor going door to door. A male was located in the area and admitted he had been soliciting. The male was advised that a permit from the township is required to solicit. Sgt. Scott Arentowicz was called on this individual a second time and the accused was transported to police headquarters and charged with the local ordinance violation.

Officer Matthew Pfeiffer stopped the accused for a motor vehicle violation. During the course of the stop, the accused stated she did not have her license in her possession. The information she provided to Officer Pfeiffer was also inaccurate. Officer Pfeiffer was assisted by Officer Michael Gomez and Sgt. Jeffrey Gomez. When Sgt. Gomez approached the car on the passenger side, he observed what appeared to be marijuana in the car. The accused was arrested and charged with several motor vehicle violations as well as with the possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.

Three individuals were located inside the fenced and locked area of the pool. All three parties were advised of the possibility of trespass complaints being signed by the management company.

The victim had sold his vehicle and the check written by the buyer to the financial institution by the buyer bounced. The victim has not been reimbursed by the buyer. The victim was advised of the process required to sign a criminal complaint against the buyer.

Officer Randy Maccione met with a resident from Sussex Turnpike who indicated he had received a phone solicitation for the Morristown F.O.P. The resident indicated he was asked to leave his donation in an envelope for a courier to pick up. The victim did not do so and he recorded the license plate of the car the courier was driving. A further investigation revealed the Morristown PD’s union is the PBA. Residents are reminded not to donate to any agency that solicits by telephone.

He was charged with possession of CDS, possession of drug related paraphernalia and both he and the other party were charged with being in the park after closing.

The vehicle involved had left the scene prior to the officers’ arrival. The registration on the car was provided by the caller.
