- Search Institute’s 40 Developmental Assets
Morris County and Randolph’s Municipal Alliance are embracing the 40 Developmental Assets approach to strengthen community asset building in our youth. The Search Institute’s research shows that the more assets young people have, the less likely they are to engage in many high risk behaviors. The web site provides tools for parents, teachers, community businesses, civic and social groups to actively engage in becoming asset builders. The Randolph MAC is prepared to come to your organization or group and present several ways you can become part of the community-driven prevention strategy to strengthen the health of our community. To find out more about the 40 Assets or to schedule a presentation for your neighborhood group, business, civic or social group, contact .
- Parents Who Host Lose the Most
This important program is aimed at eliminating underage drinking throughout Randolph. We hope to inform parents of the civil and criminal consequences of hosting parties which allow underage drinking.

MAC provides education and training programs for Randolph’s parents. In the past, the “Parent to Parent” program has been offered and geared toward middle and high school parents while the “Systematic Training for Effective Parenting” (STEP) has been provided for elementary school parents.
In an effort to improve communication between parents and children, MAC sponsors “Dialogue Nights” and “Parent Forums.”
Additionally, MAC funds speakers and presentations for the entire Randolph community which are held at the Randolph Township Library.
Randolph MAC assists in the promotion of county sponsored Municipal Alliance programming that benefits all Morris County families.
