Interested in learning more about crime prevention or other police services?
A great way to do this is to invite one of our officers to speak to your group.
As part of our community-based approach to policing, the police department's speaker's bureau is available to speak on a variety of topics to local schools, community groups and civic organizations. Officers will tailor their presentations to meet your group's needs and answer any questions participants may have.
Presentations have been given to children's groups on stranger awareness, Internet safety and drug and alcohol awareness. We have also given presentations to our senior citizens on identity theft and scam artists. You can also arrange a group tour of our headquarters at Town Hall (especially interesting to kids!).
