Randolph Rock Blasting Update

🚨 Important Notice for Randolph Residents!

Upcoming Rock Blasting in Canoe Brook Project

Dear Randolph community, we want to keep you informed about an upcoming project happening in town. The Canoe Brook project requires drilling and blasting to break up bulk and trench rock.
This process is regulated by the NJ Department of Labor (NJDOL).

👷‍♂️ Regulated Blasting:
All personnel involved in blasting have valid DOL-issued licenses.
Blasting activities are closely monitored with multiple seismographs to ensure noise and vibration levels comply with NJDOL standards.
Records of blasts and seismographs are regularly reviewed by NJDOL blasting inspectors.

🛑 Concerns and Contact:
Blasting and drilling will be in performed in small increments and will hardly be felt throughout the township community.
The work will be performed at the Canoe Brook (behind 855 Route 10) site on or after March 4, 2024.
If you have any concerns or questions about this state-regulated blasting activity, please direct them to NJDOL at 609-292-2096.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to complete this project safely and efficiently. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or concerns. Thank you for being part of the Randolph community! 🏡
