The Randolph Kiwanis Club again brings the annual Freedom Festival to Randolph Township at the County College of Morris. This year, the festival is from Thursday, July 6 through Saturday, July 8. The 3-day celebration includes music entertainment, carnival rides, games, crafts, and food vendors.
The festival is 6:00 pm – 11:00 pm daily; Friday begins earlier, 5:00 pm, with the classic car show, the second year for this event, highlighted with trophies in several categories.
On Saturday, the Kiwanis Freedom Parade kick-off is at 10:00 am; the parade route is from Dover Chester Road & Quaker Church Road to County College of Morris. The festival concludes with the musical entertainment, DJ Nick and the Jerseytones, performing during the fireworks display, scheduled for 9:45 pm. The fireworks rain date is July 9.
