An ordinance of the Township of Randolph providing for various 2011 capital improvements appropriating $382,700, therefore, including $195,700 from the Capital Improvement Fund; $164,000 from the Dedicated Open Space/Recreation Trust Fund and $23,000 from Capital Surplus
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris and State of New Jersey as follows:
SECTION 1. The funding for the various 2011 Capital Improvements are hereby authorized not to exceed $382,700 for the following purpose:

(6) Replacement of Parks Department Equipment: Replacement of 1987 Lely Spreader, Replacement of 2002 Ariens Snow Blower, Replacement of 2004 Rain Cannon and Replacement of 2002 Dump Truck (Vehicle #757) | $50,000 |
(7) Cohn Farm Remediation | $100,000 |
TOTAL | $382,700 |
SECTION 2. A total sum of $382,700 is authorized to complete the improvements including $195,700 from the Capital Improvement Fund, $164,000 from the Dedicated Open Space/Recreation Trust Fund and $23,000 from Capital Surplus.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon final adoption and publication in accordance with applicable statutes.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an Ordinance entitled “AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF RANDOLPH PROVIDING FOR VARIOUS 2011 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS APPROPRIATING $382,700, THEREFORE, INCLUDING $195,700 FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND; $164,000 FROM THE DEDICATED OPEN SPACE/RECREATION TRUST FUND AND $23,000 FROM CAPITAL SURPLUS” was submitted in writing at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris, State of New Jersey, held on May 5, 2011 and was introduced, read by title and passed on first reading. The Governing Body of the Township of Randolph will further consider the Ordinance for second reading and final passage thereof at their regular meeting to be held on June 2, 2011 at 8 p.m. prevailing time, at the Municipal Building, 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey 07869, at which time and place a public hearing will be heard thereon by the Governing Body and all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning said Ordinance.
Statement of Purpose of Ordinance
The purpose of the above Ordinance is to provide for the Route 10/Mt. Pleasant Avenue Water Main Extension, purchase of Inspection Vehicle, purchase of Public Works Equipment, upgrade of Finance/Tax/Water and Sewer Computer System, Park Trail Improvements, replacement of Park Department Equipment and Cohn Farm Remediation.
A copy of the full Ordinance is available to any member of the general public, without cost, at the Township of Randolph, Municipal Building, Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey, at the Office of the Township Clerk, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
