An ordinance reappropriating $104,000 proceeds of obligations not needed for their original purposes in order to provide for milling and paving improvements along Millbrook Avenue, appropriating a grant in the amount of $165,000 expected to be received from the state of New Jersey Department of Transportation and appropriating $20,000 available in the capital improvement fund in and by the Township of Randolph, New Jersey
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF RANDOLPH, NEW JERSEY (the “Township”) (not less than two-thirds of all members thereof affirmatively concurring) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:2-39, it is hereby determined that the following proceeds of obligations originally made available pursuant to the bond ordinance and capital ordinance listed below are no longer necessary for the following purposes:

SECTION 2. All of the above projects have been completed and/or additional funding sources have been found, creating surplus funds available in the appropriation. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:2-39, it is hereby determined that $104,000 proceeds of obligations referred to above, a grant in the amount of $165,000 expected to be received from the State of New Jersey Department of Transportation and $20,000 is available in the Capital Improvement Fund and are hereby appropriated to provide for milling and paving improvements along Millbrook Avenue.
SECTION 3. The capital budget of the Township is hereby amended to conform with the provisions of this ordinance to the extent of any inconsistency herewith.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect 20 days after the first publication thereof after final adoption, as provided by the Local Bond Law.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an Ordinance entitled “ORDINANCE REAPPROPRIATING $104,000 PROCEEDS OF OBLIGATIONS NOT NEEDED FOR THEIR ORIGINAL PURPOSES IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR MILLING AND PAVING IMPROVEMENTS ALONG MILLBROOK AVENUE, APPROPRIATING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $165,000 EXPECTED TO BE RECEIVED FROM THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND APPROPRIATING $20,000 AVAILABLE IN THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND IN AND BY THE TOWNSHIP OF RANDOLPH, NEW JERSEY” was submitted in writing at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris, State of New Jersey, held on May 22, 2014 and was introduced, read by title and passed on first reading. The Governing Body of the Township of Randolph will further consider the Ordinance for second reading and final passage thereof at their regular meeting to be held on June 12, 2014 at 7 p.m. prevailing time, at the Municipal Building, 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey 07869, at which time and place a public hearing will be heard thereon by the Governing Body and all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning said Ordinance.
Statement of Purpose of Ordinance
The purpose of the above Ordinance is to provide funding for the milling and paving improvements along Millbrook Avenue.
A copy of the full Ordinance is available to any member of the general public, without cost, at the Township of Randolph, Municipal Building, Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey, at the Office of the Township Clerk, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
