An Ordinance of the Township of Randolph Appropriating $175,000 from the Recreation/Open Space Trust Fund for the Brundage Park Lighting Project
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris and State of New Jersey as follows:
SECTION 1. The funding for a Parks and Recreation Capital Improvement is hereby authorized not to exceed $175,000 for the following purpose:

SECTION 2. A total sum of $175,000 is authorized to complete this improvement including $175,000 from the Recreation/Open Space Trust Fund. These funds are currently available in the Open Space Capital Improvement Fund (located in the general capital fund) and are made available via a recently cancelled Open Space capital ordinance.
SECTION 3. The 2020 capital program, as well as the township’s park plan, is hereby amended to reflect the improvements in this ordinance, as appropriate.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon final adoption and publication in accordance with applicable statutes.

ORDINANCE NO. 19-20
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an Ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF RANDOLPH APPROPRIATING $175,000 FROM THE RECREATION/OPEN SPACE TRUST FUND FOR THE BRUNDAGE PARK LIGHTING PROJECT” was submitted in writing at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris, State of New Jersey, held on September 10, 2020 and was introduced, read by title and passed on first reading. A Statement of Purpose of the Ordinance is contained below. The Governing Body of the Township of Randolph will further consider the Ordinance for second reading and final passage thereof at their regular meeting to be held on September 24, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. prevailing time, at the Municipal Building, 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey 07869, at which time and place a public hearing will be heard thereon by the Governing Body and all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning said Ordinance.
Statement of Purpose of Ordinance
The purpose of the said Ordinance is to provide funding for the completion of the Lighting Project at Brundage Park. A copy of the full Ordinance is available to any member of the general public, at no cost, at the Randolph Township Municipal Building, Office of the Clerk, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
