An ordinance of the Township of Randolph amending Ordinance 10-15 (the 2015 road overlay program) by appropriating an additional $25,000 from the capital improvement fund and $40,000 from capital fund balance (surplus)

WHEREAS, Funding for the 2015 Road Overlay Program was adopted via Capital Ordinance 10-15 in the amount of $945,000; and

WHEREAS, Additional funds in the amount of $65,000 are needed to complete the 2015 Road Overlay Program; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris and State of New Jersey as follows:

An additional amount of $65,000 is authorized to complete the 2015 Road Overlay Program including $25,000 from the Capital Improvement Fund and $40,000 from Capital Fund Balance. This will result in a total of $1,010,000 budgeted for the 2015 Road Overlay Program.

This ordinance shall take effect upon final adoption and publication in accordance with applicable statutes.

ORDINANCE NO. 20-15

Notice is hereby given that an Ordinance entitled “AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF RANDOLPH AMENDING ORDINANCE 10-15 (THE 2015 ROAD OVERLAY PROGRAM) BY APPROPRIATING AN ADDITIONAL $25,000 FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND AND $40,000 FROM CAPITAL FUND BALANCE (SURPLUS)” was submitted in writing at a regular meeting of the Township Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris, State of New Jersey, held on September 3, 2015 and was introduced, read by title, and passed on first reading. The Governing Body of the Township of Randolph will further consider the Ordinance for second reading and final passage thereof at the regular meeting to be held on October 1, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. prevailing time at the Municipal Building in said Township located at 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey, at which time and place a public hearing thereon by the Governing Body and all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning said Ordinance.

Statement of Purpose of Ordinance

The purpose of the said Ordinance is to amend Ordinance 10-15 in order to appropriate additional funds of $65,000 to complete the 2015 Road Overlay Program.

A copy of the full Ordinance is available to any member of the general public, at no cost, at the Randolph Township Municipal Building, Office of the Clerk, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
