An Ordinance of the Township of Randolph Amending Capital Ordinances #16-14, #21-16 and #10-18

WHEREAS, Capital Ordinance #16-14 was introduced on May 1, 2014 and adopted on May 22, 2014; and

WHEREAS, this ordinance includes, among other authorizations, an authorization for a water project at the Freedom Park Garage; and

WHEREAS, Capital Ordinance #21-16 was introduced on September 1, 2016 and adopted on September 15, 2016; and

WHEREAS, this ordinance includes, among other authorizations, an authorization for improvements to the Freedom Park Garage; and

WHEREAS, Capital Ordinance #10-18 was introduced on April 19, 2018 and adopted on May 3, 2018; and

WHEREAS, this ordinance includes, among other authorizations, an authorization to install a heater at the Heistein Park Pavilion; and

WHEREAS, the recreation and parks director requests that the purposes of these aforementioned authorizations be amended to add improvements to lighting at Brundage Park; and

WHEREAS, there will be no changes to the amounts originally authorized ($15,000 for #16-14, $10,000 for #21-16 and $15,000 for #10-18):

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris and State of New Jersey that Ordinances #16-14, #21-16 and #10-18 be amended to add improvements to lighting at Brundage Park to their original purposes; and

BE IT FURTHUR RESOLVED, that this ordinance shall take effect upon final adoption and publication in accordance with applicable statutes.

ORDINANCE NO. 20-21

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an Ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF RANDOLPH AMENDING CAPITAL ORDINANCES #16-14, #21-16 AND #10-18” was submitted in writing at a regular meeting of the Mayor and Council of the Township of Randolph, County of Morris, State of New Jersey, held on May 6, 2021 and was introduced, read by title and passed on first reading. A Statement of Purpose of the Ordinance is contained below. The Governing Body of the Township of Randolph will further consider the Ordinance for second reading and final passage thereof at their regular meeting to be held on May 20, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. prevailing time, at the Municipal Building, 502 Millbrook Avenue, Randolph, New Jersey 07869, at which time and place a public hearing will be heard thereon by the Governing Body and all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard concerning said Ordinance.

Statement of Purpose of Ordinance

The purpose of the said Ordinance is to amend several Township Ordinances to include the authorization of improvements to lighting at Brundage Park. A copy of the full Ordinance is available to any member of the general public, at no cost, at the Randolph Township Municipal Building, Office of the Clerk, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
