Computers/Equipment

Internet Searching

Public computers in the lobby, Reference Room, Children’s Room and Teen Zone provide access to the Internet. Check your e-mail account or search our subscription reference databases. You may search them in the library as well as all the other databases that are available from home.

Wireless Internet Access

The library has a wireless network with access points throughout the building. You may use your laptop computer, tablet, smartphone or other Internet-capable device that supports WiFi. No password is necessary and library staff are available to provide assistance if you have any difficulty connecting to the network. Printing is available from library computers only.

Business Software & Scanner

Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint are available on designated computers throughout the library. A scanner is also available, which may be used to e-mail documents or save them to a USB flash drive free of charge. Flash drives are available for purchase at the Circulation Desk.

Game Computers

Several computers in the Children’s Room have educational CD-ROM games suitable for different age levels.

Copy Machines

One copy machine is provided in the Reference Room. Black and white copies cost ten cents per page and color copies are thirty-five cents per page. You may also use this machine to reduce and enlarge documents.
