2019 Freedom Festival

Due to rain in our area tonight, Saturday, July 6, 2019, we are postponing the Randolph Freedom Festival and fireworks to Sunday night, July 7th.

2019 Freedom Festival
Thursday, July 4 - Saturday, July 6

Featuring the best fireworks show in the county plus a parade, games, food trucks, live bands, rides, attractions, arts & crafts and much, much more! Activities all take place at the County College of Morris, located at Center Grove Road off Route 10 in Randolph.

New offerings this year include a beer garden and a Twilight Freedom 5K Run/1 Mile Fun Walk. The beer garden will be open 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. each night of the festival and will feature acoustic entertainment. The 5K Run/1 Mile Fun Walk is a fundraiser to benefit the not-for-profit Hands to Heroes Foundation which helps veterans and their families. The run/walk is scheduled for Friday July 5, 2019. Please be aware that smoking and pets are not allowed on the CCM campus. Anyone found violating these policies will be asked to leave the campus.

    One Price Night—ride all night for $25.00! Rides, games, food trucks, live performance by “The Kootz,” free family entertainment and vendors. Beer garden with acoustic entertainment.
  • Friday, July 5
    Twilight Freedom 5K Run/1 Mile Fun Walk (parking lot #1 of CCM)
    4:00 p.m. check-in and race day registration
    5:30 p.m. Twilight Freedom 5K Run starts
    5:45 p.m. 1 Mile Fun Walk starts

  • Saturday, July 6
    Parade Day
    Kicks off at 12 noon
    Starts at Dover Chester Rd. & Quaker Church Road (Mt. Fern Church) and ends at CCM (Center Grove entrance). The parade will include military units, community groups, bands, historical reenactments and more. The 2019 grand marshal will be Randolph resident Sherry Ross who was a pioneer for women in sports broadcasting and served for years as a radio analyst for the New Jersey Devils.

    6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
    Rides, games, food trucks, free family entertainment and vendors. Beer garden with acoustic entertainment.

    Fireworks
    Starts at 9:45 p.m.
    DJ 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
    The best show in Morris County!
    $5 donation per car.

The parade marches rain or shine. If fireworks are cancelled on July 6, the rain date will be July 7 for fair and fireworks. In the case of questionable weather, check the township home page for updates.
