Butterfly Release

In observance of International Overdose Awareness Day, members of the community are invited to join Center for Addiction Recovery Education & Success (CARES) and Community Coalition for a Safe and Healthy Morris (CCHSM) in honoring the memory of those we have lost, those still struggling and those in recovery from the disease of addiction.

The celebration will take place Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at CARES (25 West Main Street in Rockaway) with a light fare and we will then proceed together to Donatoni Community Park (231 West Main Street, Rockaway) for a dedication ceremony and beautiful butterfly release.

We must work together to raise awareness, end the stigma and prevent further tragedies associated with this disease.
