Below is a summary of the most recent information and news.
CONFIRMED CASES
As of today: 61,850 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in NJ; 3,099 cases in Morris County; 11 new cases in Randolph, bringing total to date to 159.
Of the 159 cases: 24 households have more than one individual; 22 individuals have had symptoms resolve and can return to normal activities; 16 individuals are currently hospitalized.
Sadly, our community has had 5 fatalities to date. Our thoughts continue to be with those families at this extremely difficult time. The families have requested that no further information be released.
Included in the numbers above: 12 of the cases and 3 of the fatalities are associated with long-term care facilities; 8 of the 16 individuals currently hospitalized are residents of these facilities.
All individuals considered to be close contacts of the confirmed cases are contacted and asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.
COUNTY INFORMATION
Due to tomorrow’s weather forecast of rain and wind, Morris County has closed the COVID-19 testing site at CCM; site operations will resume on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.
