Coronavirus Information Update

Your continued cooperation and efforts during this ongoing health emergency are very much appreciated. We realize that this is a challenging time for residents young and old. We know that our Randolph community will get through this together! Below is a summary of the most recent information and news.

CONFIRMED CASES
As of today: 78,467 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in NJ; 3,822 cases in Morris County; 3 new cases in Randolph, bringing total to date to 192.

Of the 192 cases: 29 households have more than one individual; 11 individuals are currently hospitalized; 58 individuals have had symptoms resolve and can return to normal activities.

It is with great sadness that we must report 1 new fatality, bringing the total to 12. Our thoughts continue to be with all of the families in our community who have lost loved ones. The families have requested that no further information be released.

Included in the numbers above: 18 of the cases and 7 of the fatalities are associated with long-term care facilities; 4 of the 11 individuals currently hospitalized are residents of these facilities.

All individuals considered to be close contacts of the confirmed cases are contacted and asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.

LOCAL INFORMATION
Randolph Trails Remain Open
The municipal trail system is open, with the exception of specific sections that are on county property. View a trail map depicting the township trail system and the trails that remain open . Residents are encouraged to utilize the township trail system, but must follow appropriate social distancing measures. Residents with questions about the trails may contact the township recreation department at 973.989.7081.

The township recycling center remains open during its regular business hours, Wednesday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
