Thank you for continuing to stay home and for maintaining the appropriate social distance when you do go out for essentials or for a walk on the trails. Below is a summary of the most recent information and news.
CONFIRMED CASES
As of today: 81,420 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in NJ; 3,984 cases in Morris County; 5 new cases in Randolph, bringing total to date to 197.
Of the 197 cases: 29 households have more than one individual; 11 individuals are currently hospitalized; 63 individuals have had symptoms resolve and can return to normal activities.
To date, Randolph has lost 12 residents to this terrible virus. We continue to grieve as a community for those whom we have lost and extend condolences and prayers to their families. The families have requested that no further information be released.
Included in the numbers above: 18 of the cases and 7 of the fatalities are associated with long-term care facilities; 4 of the 11 individuals currently hospitalized are residents of these facilities.
All individuals considered to be close contacts of the confirmed cases are contacted and asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.
