As of today: 102,196 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in NJ; 4,716 cases in Morris County; 2 new cases in Randolph, bringing the total to date to 225.

Of the 225 cases: 39 households have more than one individual; 12 individuals are currently hospitalized; 99 individuals have had symptoms resolve and can return to normal activities.

Sadly we have lost 16 of our residents to this terrible virus. We continue to grieve with the families who have lost loved ones. The families have requested that no further information be released.

Included in the numbers above: 21 of the cases and 9 of the fatalities are associated with long-term care facilities; 5 of the 12 individuals currently hospitalized are residents of these facilities.

All individuals considered to be close contacts of the confirmed cases are contacted and asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.

NJ Motor Vehicle Commission agencies, road testing, and inspection facilities will remain closed to the public through May 10. All driver licenses, non-driver IDs, vehicle registrations, and inspection stickers expiring before May 31 have been extended by two months. Most renewals, replacements, changes of address, and other transactions can be processed online at NJMVC.gov.

Morris County Clerk Ann Grossi assures residents that all essential functions of her office are still being fully handled. For more information
