Coronavirus Information Update

Your continued patience and cooperation during this ongoing health emergency is very much appreciated. We realize that this is a challenging time for everyone and we know that our community will get through this together and be stronger. Below is a summary of the most recent information and news.

CONFIRMED CASES
As of today: 113,856 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in NJ; 5,128 cases in Morris County. There are 2 new cases in Randolph, bringing the total to date to 242.

Of the 242 cases: 41 households have more than one individual; 11 individuals are currently hospitalized; 115 individuals have had symptoms resolve and can return to normal activities.

It is with great sadness that we must report 1 additional fatality, bringing the total to 18. We grieve with our residents who lost loved ones. The families have requested that no further information be released.

Included in the numbers above: 21 of the cases and 9 of the fatalities are associated with long-term care facilities; 3 of the 11 individuals currently hospitalized are residents of these facilities.

All individuals considered to be close contacts of the confirmed cases are contacted and asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.

STATE INFORMATION

COUNTY INFORMATION
Morris County Clerk’s Office—2020 Primary Election Timeline:
May 13: Deadline for change of party affiliation declaration forms for primary election
June 30: Deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot by mail for primary election
July 3: Deadline for application to receive primary election mail-in ballots by electronic means for qualified overseas civilian and military voters
July 6: By 3:00 p.m.—Deadline for in-person mail-in ballot applications for primary election
July 7: Primary election day
