We appreciate all that you are doing to keep yourself, your family and the entire community safe. Below is a summary of the most recent information and news related to COVID-19.
CONFIRMED CASES
As of today: 130,593 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in NJ; 5,625 cases in Morris County. There was 1 new case in Randolph, bringing the total to date to 261.
Of the 261 cases: 45 households have more than one individual; 10 individuals are currently hospitalized; 140 individuals have had symptoms resolve and can return to normal activities.
Sadly, our community has had 19 fatalities to date. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the families who have lost loved ones. The families have requested that no further information be released.
Included in the numbers above: 22 of the cases and 10 of the fatalities are associated with long-term care facilities; 4 of the 10 individuals currently hospitalized are residents of these facilities.
All individuals considered to be close contacts of the confirmed cases are contacted and asked to self-quarantine for 14 days.
STATE INFORMATION
On Friday, May 1, 2020, Governor Murphy issued Executive Order No. 135 which allows the use of audio-visual technology to process a minor’s working papers and for marriage/civil unions.

The township council meetings to be held on Thursdays, May 7 and 21, will start at 5:00 p.m. These meetings will be held remotely via Zoom; the public will have the ability to attend remotely and provide comment during the public sessions.
