COUNTY INFORMATION
Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority (MCMUA) Cancels Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Event
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the MCMUA has decided to cancel the event scheduled for May 16 at the Morris County Public Safety Training Academy on West Hanover Avenue. The next event is scheduled for June 13 at the same facility. Read the full article

LOCAL INFORMATION
Based upon clarification from the Governor’s office, the Brundage Park tennis courts and the Randolph Dog Park will be open beginning Saturday, May 9, 2020, subject to the below guidelines:

Tennis Court Guidelines for Use

  • Tennis Courts #1-5: singles use only
  • Court #6 is closed for tennis, but open for pickleball
  • Pickleball is singles use only (no more than two players on each court)
  • All participants must remain a minimum of 6 feet apart
  • No group tennis or lessons are permitted
  • Non-players are not allowed inside fence area
  • Play is limited to one hour if people are waiting to play
  • Water fountains and restrooms will remain closed
  • People waiting to play must maintain social distancing outside fence
  • Allow space for people to exit gates prior to entering courts
  • Personal hand sanitizers should be used following touching of gate or any other items within tennis courts

Dog Park Guidelines for Use

  • All participants must remain a minimum of 6 feet apart
  • Only one person per dog allowed
  • Water fountains will be turned off: please bring your own water
  • Face coverings must be worn if social distancing cannot be maintained
  • No more than 8 people allowed within dog park at any time
  • Personal hand sanitizers should be used following any touching of gate or other items within dog park

If it is observed by the township police or other staff that guidelines are not being followed, the offenders will be asked to leave and the facility may be subject to closure.
