Recreation Department Sponsors Holiday Celebration

The community is invited to attend Randolph’s annual tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The holiday celebration will take place at Veterans Community Park, located at 100 Calais Road in Randolph.

From 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., the New Jersey Dog Sled Club (NJSDC) will talk about the history of dog sledding, famous races, equipment and, most importantly, the dogs.

Demonstrations by Jimmy’s Artistic Creations will take place from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos in front of Jimmy’s stunning ice carving creations.

After a short break, the tree lighting ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. followed by visits with Santa. Participation in this event is free, and registration is NOT required.
